Two Cities, One Momentum: SKYWORTH PV Accelerates the Expansion of European Clean Energy Network
SKYWORTH PV has achieved another milestone in its overseas journey: the 10MW distributed photovoltaic power station in Orta, Abruzzo, Italy has officially been signed, marking the project’s entry into substantive construction. Beyond Italy, SKYWORTH PV is also advancing steadily in the European market, including the successful signing of a 10MW PV project in Bordeaux, France—further strengthening its clean energy footprint across key regions of Europe.
The successful signing of the Italian project not only demonstrates the solid advancement of SKYWORTH PV’s global strategy, but also reflects the determination and practical approach of Chinese renewable energy companies as they go global—contributing high-quality solutions to the global energy transition.
1. Strategic Focus: Targeting High-Value Markets, Expanding the European Landscape
Against an increasingly competitive domestic PV market environment, SKYWORTH PV remains committed to a global strategic direction, consistently allocating resources to high-potential international markets. With abundant solar resources and strong policy incentives, Italy has long been one of SKYWORTH PV’s strategic priorities in Europe. The newly signed 10MW project in Italy complements the 10MW Bordeaux project and other deployments, jointly driving Europe’s energy transition.

This latest signing not only enriches SKYWORTH PV’s European project portfolio and enhances execution capabilities and brand visibility in the region, but also lays a solid foundation for continued market development across the continent.
2. Project Highlights: A Green Benchmark Delivering Clean Energy
Located at the border of Lazio and Abruzzo, the project has an installed capacity of 10MW. Once completed, it is expected to generate approximately 14.059 million kWh of electricity annually—supplying a stable stream of renewable power while significantly cutting local carbon emissions.
The project has now entered the Ready-to-Build (RTB) stage and has successfully secured a bid quota under the Italian government’s tariff auction scheme, providing crucial guarantees for future grid connection and long-term revenue stability.
3. Innovative Collaboration: Blending Local Expertise to Shape a New Model for Going Global
The project adopts a joint venture structure, co-established by SKYWORTH PV and a local Italian company. SKYWORTH PV will serve as the EPC contractor, fully responsible for overall construction and key equipment supply.

This joint venture framework underscores SKYWORTH PV’s emphasis on compliant operations and deep localization in overseas markets. It effectively combines the strengths of both sides: Chinese expertise in PV technology, manufacturing, and project financing, paired with Italian partners’ deep understanding of the local market, regulations, and resources. This model not only ensures efficient and compliant project execution, but also creates a sustainable cooperation framework based on “shared risks, shared benefits, and complementary strengths”—a replicable blueprint for Chinese renewable energy companies expanding abroad.
The successful signing of the Italian project, together with the steady development of the Bordeaux 10MW project and others, signals growing international momentum for Chinese brands. It sends a strong message to the world: Chinese renewable energy enterprises are committed to driving the global energy transition—powered by innovation and confidence.
SKYWORTH PV will continue deepening its global presence, driven by technology and enabled by localized cooperation. On the journey toward reshaping the world’s energy structure, SKYWORTH PV will keep demonstrating the responsibility and influence of China’s photovoltaic industry—lighting up the night skies of more countries with the sparks of clean energy.
