Solavita's Rocky Wang described the company's latest SVH050KH-T1 series 3-phase hybrid inverter, targeting Europe's C&I market, during Intersolar Europe 2025.
Key Takeaways
During Intersolar Europe 2025, Solavita's booth displayed the company's latest 50 kW 3-phase hybrid inverter model
This system can support up to a 314 Ah battery bank
It can be scaled up to 150 kW of 3-phase power capacity, by connecting 3 units in parallel
Solavita, a subsidiary of the Skyworth Group, known for its broad product portfolio – including string inverters, hybrid inverters, and energy storage systems (ESS) – recently showcased its latest models at Intersolar Europe 2025. During a visit to the booth by the TaiyangNews team, Rocky Wang, Product Manager at the Chinese solar energy solution provider, presented the company’s new SVH050KH-T1 series 3-phase hybrid inverter, designed for the European commercial and industrial (C&I) market.
This latest offering from the company is distinguished by key attributes in 3 areas: Performance, Safety, and User-Friendliness.
Performance
Discussing the flexibility of the new model, Wang highlighted that it features up to 5 MPPT channels, each capable of integrating 2 PV strings, allowing connection of up to 100 kW of PV capacity. Supporting a DC system voltage of up to 1,000 V, each MPPT has a wide input range of 180 V to 850 V and can handle up to 40 A of current. Engineered for 200% DC/AC oversizing, the inverter supports 3-phase industrial loads up to 55 kW and 79.4 A in on-grid mode.
In terms of storage, the inverter includes 3 integrated battery ports, each operating within a 160 V to 800 V range and capable of charging/discharging at up to 55 A. When all 3 ports are connected in parallel with a lithium-ion battery bank, the system can deliver up to 165 A, compatible with a battery bank of up to 314 Ah, according to Wang.
The inverter switches to uninterruptible power supply (UPS) mode in under 10 milliseconds, providing up to 50 kW of continuous 3-phase AC backup power and an output of 72.2 A. Additionally, it can handle 120% of rated backup power for 60 seconds and 150% for up to 30 seconds, making it suitable for supporting high-capacity C&I critical loads during grid failures.
Beyond PV and grid integration, the system is designed to support diesel generator (DG) integration up to 50 kW, allowing the DG to serve as a primary AC source in the absence of grid power, matching the inverter's 55 kW and 79.4 A output specification.
Notably, the SVH050KH-T1 hybrid inverter achieves a maximum efficiency of 97.8%.
Safety
To mitigate potential risks arising from various DC-side faults, the company has incorporated several advanced safety features, including insulation resistance (IR) detection and reverse polarity protection for both PV and battery inputs. To guard against surge voltages, typically caused by lightning strikes, the inverter is equipped with surge protection devices (SPDs) on both the AC and DC sides.
Importantly, it is also compatible with 3rd-party smart Rapid Shutdown Devices (RSDs), enabling rapid disconnection of the connected PV modules in case of system faults. Additionally, an Arc-Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) can be integrated on request, offering enhanced fire protection.
User-Friendliness
According to Wang, the product is housed in an IP66-rated enclosure, ensuring reliable performance in harsh industrial environments. Measuring 580 × 920 × 300 mm (W × H × D) and weighing 93 kg, the system is engineered to operate at temperatures up to 60 °C and withstand up to 100% relative humidity.
Wang also noted that the inverter can be parallelly connected with up to 3 identical systems, enabling scalability of power capacity to 150 kW, making it well-suited for larger C&I energy needs.
