Solavita Shines at Solar Energy Expo Warsaw: Pioneering Green Energy Solutions for Poland's Growing Market

From January 14 to 16, 2025, Solavita made a successful debut at the Solar Energy Expo in Warsaw, Poland. This is one of the most influential photovoltaic events in Eastern Europe, attracting leading companies from the global photovoltaic and energy storage industries. Through this exhibition, Solavita showcased latest energy solutions, gained insights into the latest trends in the Polish photovoltaic market, and engaged in discussions with local customers and partners on the future development path of green energy.

As an emerging powerhouse in the European photovoltaic market, Poland has experienced rapid growth in recent years. In 2022, Poland's total photovoltaic installed capacity reached 12.1 GW, far surpassing the target of 7 GW; in 2023, an additional 4.6 GW was added. By 2027, Poland is expected to have 27 GW of photovoltaic projects integrated into the grid. This growth is driven by government policy support, the demand for energy transition, and increasing consumer recognition of green energy.

To promote the development of photovoltaics, the Polish government has introduced several incentives and subsidy policies:

Net Billing: a) Net Metering: Users can return excess photovoltaic power to the grid at a 1:1 ratio and retrieve it for free when needed in the future. b) Net Billing: After April 2022, the net billing policy was introduced, meaning users no longer enjoy the 1:1 exchange ratio but instead sell the surplus power back to the grid to directly benefit from the market electricity price.

The 6th Phase of the Mój Prąd Program, officially released on September 5, 2024, provides household photovoltaic subsidies of 50% of system costs for net billing users who installed systems after January 1, 2021. The photovoltaic system’s capacity must range from 2 to 10 kW. The maximum subsidy for systems without energy storage is 6,000 PLN (approx. RMB 11,040), while systems with energy storage can receive up to 7,000 PLN (approx. RMB 12,880).

Rural Energy Assistance Program: With a total budget of 1 billion PLN, 100 million PLN was allocated in 2023 to provide 100% loans for farmers or cooperatives in rural areas to install photovoltaic systems.

Capacity Auction: In December 2022, Poland's grid operator PSE announced the results of the 2027 capacity market auction. Four energy storage projects (all newly constructed units) won, with a total of 160.8 MW/604.4 MWh secured for 17 years.

At this exhibition, Solavita presented latest residential PV and storage solutions, including high-efficiency hybrid inverters, on-grid inverters, energy storage systems, and batteries. These products, known for their high reliability, efficiency, and smart management, attracted a large number of visitors who stopped by for consultations.

Solavita’s 5-15kW three-phase hybrid inverter stood out as an ideal choice for residential use. This inverter features dual MPPT tracking, with a maximum current of 30A per MPPT, supporting flexible system design and ensuring efficient energy capture. The maximum conversion efficiency reaches 98%, and it supports 1.3x DC over-sizing, effectively improving generation efficiency even in complex environments.

In terms of safety and reliability, this inverter incorporates AC and DC Type II surge protection (SPD) and AFCI to safeguard system operation. The IP66 protection rating ensures stable performance under various environmental conditions, while the seamless switching between grid-connected and off-grid modes and 10ms backup power transition ensures uninterrupted power supply.

Additionally, the inverter supports a maximum charge/discharge current of 25A, and multiple units can be connected in parallel up to 5 units. It also supports Wi-Fi, 4G, and Ethernet communication, allowing users to remotely monitor and manage multiple devices via the web or app.

During the exhibition, Solavita engaged in in-depth discussions with local Polish companies and distributors, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the current state and challenges of the Polish photovoltaic market. Many customers expressed great interest in Solavita's products and solutions.

The successful conclusion of Solar Energy Expo marks another significant step for Solavita in expansion into the Eastern European market. The rapid rise of the Polish market presents unprecedented opportunities for the PV industries. Solavita will use this exhibition as a starting point to continue promoting green energy adoption in Poland and beyond, leveraging its leading technologies, exceptional services, and global vision to work with partners in building a sustainable future.
